A Hidden Surprise!

One early morning while in Glacier National Park, I drove up to Logan Pass in the dark in order to hike out to Hidden Lake for sunrise. I kept a keen eye out for shimmering eyes in the dark, as this is a favorite place for bears to hang out. Despite the thick cover of clouds, I held out hope I would get a nice sunrise. While I did not get the sunrise color I was hoping for, shortly after sunrise, surprisingly the clouds started to break up a bit and allowed the light to come through and illuminate Bearhat Mountain.
