Black Stumps

In 2015 a large forest fire ripped through the St. Mary's lake area of Glacier National Park. On my hike to to St. Mary's Falls on a rainy September morning produced this image. What caught my eye was the beautiful colors in the underbrush of the burned trees and the fog giving it a mystical feeling. Glacier National Park, Montana
