Cosmic Debris

Rust and oxide bloom across the surface like a dying star's outer layers, dissolving into a field of trapped air bubbles suspended in blue. What looks like a star field in decay in miniature is actually mineral staining and gas caught in a thin film of water, photographed inches from the ground.
