Head On

After my first time shooting this train (which can be seen in my image titled "Old Timer"), I knew I wanted to try to get a photo of it coming head on. This was going to require setting my camera up on the tracks. I used my telephoto lens in order to be as far away from the train as possible while still making it big enough in the frame to be the subject. I really like how this one came out with all the steam from the train and the mountains in the background. The conductors hanging out of either side was just the icing on the cake for this image, a vision realized. Silverton, Colorado
