In photography one must realize how fleeting the moments you capture with you camera are. A few minutes here or there (even down to a few seconds) and the image you captured may have been totally different and lost its visual impact. On this evening, I was not planning on shooting the full moon. I was totally focused on the barns in the opposite direction. The sunset looked so promising, but as it got closer the clouds really fizzled out. I turned around to see the moon rising up above the hillside. I got myself into position to try and frame the moon with the horses before the moon rose too high. I was very happy to catch this fleeting moment of beauty. Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
