The Famous Curve

Morant's Curve in Lake Louise is home to this view and likely the most photographed train in the world. All day long people stop here and see if they can catch a train coming through. The trains are not on any sort of schedule, so it is complete luck to catch one. I spent many hours here and was able to see many trains come through, some as close as thirty minutes apart and other times I spent a couple hours and didn't see any trains. Its hard to catch a train at the same time the lighting and sky are good, but when it all comes together like this, its a beautiful sight. Banff National Park - Lake Louise, Canada
