The Spotlight

A panoramic image of Zion Valley from the top of the Canyon Overlook Trail. I hiked up here in the early afternoon hoping for a nice sunset. As I got up top, a quick storm rolled through the area clouding the sky over and spitting a bit of rain. As the storm passed and the clouds started to break up, this hole opened in the clouds allowing a spotlight to shine down into the canyon illuminating the winding road. Too bad all the clouds cleared by the time the sun set, but I was not disappointed to come away with this beautiful image. Zion National Park - Utah
