Water Scenes

Conundrum

About 30 minutes before this image was taken, I was standing atop the mountain to the left in the background (the North Bubble). As I was standing up there I could there weren't many clouds in the direction I was facing and that the only hope of clouds for the sunset were back behind me. I was facing a conundrum, do I rush down to Jordan Pond and hope I can get there in time or just hang out where I was and hope something good materialized. After a few minutes I decided to rush down to Jordan Pond, getting down the 1 mile trail in about 9 minutes, hoped into my truck, and rushed over to Jordan Pond to hurriedly find a composition to shoot for sunset. Despite how rushed the situation was, I was happy with my choice as I got a bit of color and some nice cloud reflections in the water. Acadia National Park, Maine
