Chapel Reflections

Fall in the ADK's is so busy. The amount of people is staggering, so when you plan to car camp, you need to get to your spot early and not leave it. I really don't like when that happens as I will usually have to miss out on sunset as getting there after that is a recipe for disaster. I had noticed Chapel Pond the previous day on my way to the camping spot, so on this day I decided to set up camp and walk down the road to the pond. I was treated to a wonderful sunset and amazing reflections of the surrounding foliage and mountains. Chaepl Pond – Adirondack Mountains, New York
