In Zion, it is often difficult to come away with a unique image. It has simply all been shot before. When I found this composition I knew I had something, I just needed the elements to come together. The clouds were moving fast and the light was in and out quickly. Each time it peaked through I would take a shot. I also needed the wind to cooperate as I was using a slow shutter to get the details in the water. When I captured this one, I knew it was the one. The spotlight on the mountain and bridge was perfect and thankfully all the trees were sharp. I left this spot feeling deeply content and satisfied I had achieved my goal of a unique image here.
