Shikata Ga Nai

I think all humans have a desire to try an exert control over what happens to them, its just in our nature. One thing photography has taught me however, is that I have no control over anything. The world is an ever changing place, and this is never more apparent them at the ocean. Every time I go out to shoot I have to remind myself that I can not control what I will see on that day, I can only choose to be open and focus on the one thing I can control, <em>how</em> I see what is happening in front of me.
