The Flare

This image is a happy accident! While out shooting long exposures at Beavertail I found this composition I really liked. I was able to capture some beautiful details in the water, but what really set this image apart for me was the unique flare. At this point I had a little scratch on my polarizer filter, and the sun happened to hit it at the perfect angle to produce this flare. Beavertail State Park – Jamestown, Rhode Island
